We are so unsure about who has coronavirus and it is causing many places and events to shut down. This includes schools, activities centers, family gatherings, important meetings, etc. For starters, it isn't fair to students that their education is being taken away. Especially Seniors in high school that still need to fill in their high school requirements. It's also unfortunate to the students that come from low-income families due to the fact that school is one of the only times to get food. For some of those students, it might be the only time they actually have a roof over their heads. Second, according to the source "Science Alert", human isolation can harm both someone's physical and mental health. Researchers have found that loneliness can ruin someone's immune system and it will make it easier to develop a disease. We are already concern about the coronavirus. By isolating humans from their family, friends, and acquaintances over not being tested, we could be developing a new disease to concern about. My final point is for those who do have the virus. Without test kits and people being tested, those who do have coronavirus will never know. This can especially harm the elderly and people with weaker immune systems. If people are tested for the coronavirus, it will make it easier to know who needs treatment and who needs to stay home. By keeping everyone locked up with a lack of testing, we not only harm those in need of testing but also the communities in our country. According to the "Los Angeles Times", South Korea has been doing drive-in clinics as tests, which resulted in quicker results to who has coronavirus. If the US ran it similarly, then we would also have quick results.
