Trump wants $5.7 billion in funding to build a wall along the Mexican border. Democrats are refusing to budge. As we wait many American federal government employees are working without pay. 

In other news, numerous states have legalized recreational and medicinal Cannabis, yet many Americans, mostly minorities, are being incarcerated as Cannabis is still Federally illegal. Cannabis has tremendous medicinal benefits, it's a much safer recreational "drug" than alcohol and tobacco, and according to Forbes, Colorado and Washington, which were the first two U.S. states to legalize recreational use, collected nearly $250 million and $320 million respectively in cannabis-related taxes and fees in 2017.

The solution is simple: Democrats and Republicans should federally legalize Cannabis and use the tax revenue to build the wall.

Not everyone wants the wall and not everyone wants legal cannabis. In order to compromise we must agree to make decisions in the best interest of the American people. Some believe the wall will grant us safety. It is a fact Cannabis will help fund and rebuild our infrastructure whilst providing Americans with a natural alternative health remedy in addition to a safer "crutch" to sit at home and relax in this crazy day in age.

Legalize it.
