Currently veterans retired for reasons of injuries received in combat, are not eligible to receive their full military retirement benefits. Currently these benefits are "Offset" by Department of Veterans Affairs, disability award determination. This is wrong as each benefit is derived from different sources and different things. The offset to combat disabled veterans retirees pay should be abolished, and all benefits for full retirement pay should be made law.
