Hi my name Tonya and I'm here on the behalf,of all families who have loved ones,in fed prison,that's is serving 20 to 40,The first act step was a good first step for these people, but it should not be the only option they have..we use to have parole for fed prisons but in the 1980's it was stopped. I believe that if these individuals Are serving their good time classes and going to counseling and they also are thanking trustee jobs and proving they are taking the steps to prove they are not the same person who went in.  They should have a second chance at parole.. It is getting close to 2020.its been 40 years since this no parole for fed prison been in effect.. We don't need another 20 - 40 years before. People open an their eyes on this problem .There are children and grand children going to prisons to see their mom's or dad's and basicly growing up watching their parents, grandparents behind bars.It doesn't have to be like this. Elderly parents whom are barley making their visits to see their kids because life is short and they know they probly won't be here in 20 years. Things have to change and we can change it..Plz help, me change this, I'm one person but together our voice can be heard.  If that was your child.
