The process that's being used during the time of applying for property, is only worsening America, rather it be when moving into a new home, renting a home, purchasing a vehicle etc. If people can't rent a home because of denials from bad credit, not only are they wasting money on credit checks, millions of people are becoming more and more homeless. The credit checks costing $30-$50 per adult for every place you apply, it is also making the applicants credit worse every time they are ran. Not only are we paying these application fees on a continuous basis if denied, we are also obligated to pay first month, last month and security deposit along with these application fees. We should not have to pay the business to see if we qualify to pay them rent every month. We should not be obligated to pay for a credit check when the business can deny you at their own discretion. The applicants always lose and the business gains. The applicants should not have to pay for a credit check.
