York County Board of Supervisors is considering a zoning ordinance that would prohibit any future farming activities on more than 5,500 properties in the county.
If you own less than 2 acres in York County, Virginia, the Board of Supervisors are considering REMOVING YOUR PROPERTY RIGHTS!
Why is this important? If you, as a resident in York County, want to grow crops on our property that you own and pay taxes on and sell the surplus product, this ordinance will prevent you from doing so. This rezoning will interfere with your rights as property owners to grow local wholesome nutritious food.
York BOS Vote NO to the unprecedented agricultural zoning ordinance restrictions!
Be sure to include your York County address so they can't ignore your voice!!
