From June 1778 until March 1779, my 5th great grandfather, Sgt. Nathan Ganson, age 23, served in Capt. Daniel Shays's Company under the command of Col. Rufus Putnam in Gen. John Nixon's Brigade at the Fishkill Encampment and Supply Depot. George Wahington, Alexander Hamilton, & LaFayette frequented this important place.

Save America History before some greedy ass developer or some Left-wing Domestic Anti-American destroys it. Let’s turn what’s left of it a National Historical Site.

Destroying and eliminating historical landmarks, symbols, and names will not reverse our Country’s history like so many are attempting to do...!
Most of a County’s history is made up of unpleasant and even ugly things and situations which is exactly why we need to keep them around...
We need reminders of what took place, who was involved, both good and bad, and the heroes who gave their lives so that change would take place...
By keeping these reminders not only do we honor those heroes but we also are reminded to never allow them to happen again....!
We owe it to our children to educate them about the good and the bad so they will always remember the sacrifices amazing people made for change and so they never have the desire to ever repeat these atrocities...!

How can this even be considered? What is the city council thinking of? This is part of our country’s great history! This has to be stopped and this site made untouchable for this rest of time.
