- socializing will be difficult for new students
- cant be with friends
- timing is not reasonable for some kids
- takes time away from our learning
- for some kids that change classes in the middle of the year will most likely will change lunch time and it will be more difficult for students who have trouble socializing to make friends (friends help encourage education and give students motivation to learn)
- junior high is an important stage in students entering their early adolescent years and things like socializing during lunch are important in them adjusting to an entirely new environment. creating two separate lunches disrupts this adjustment as it affects how students can socialize with one another, it can lead to students being ostracized from friends they meet, and overall it can negatively affect their experience at school which in turn can affect their learning abilities and their want to go to school
