I'm signing because of my concern for the ocean creatures that will be impacted by this plan. we enjoy our wharf with its current beauty.

I agree that its simplicity and old-fashionedness is its real charm. We don't need to raise the cost or to get more expensive restaurants. Its a family friendly place now

My heart is in Santa Cruz, only moved out of the county recently. The wharf is great as it is.

The current wharf plan will drastically change the character of the wharf and the city. High rise buildings will obstruct the view of many. Docking facilities for small cruise ships will smother the area with tourists who eat and live onboard. Not worth it.

I'm signing because this project would be a huge mess for years and would not help our natural environment. This plan sounds stupid unnecessary very silicon valley thinking and detrimental to our National Monterey Bay Sanctuary. This plan is the exact opposite of what a city honored to have a Marine Sanctuary at our doorstep. This plan is obviously concocted by someone who wants to capitalize, not well thought out by anyone concerned for marine life. It is a very expensive waste of our tax money!

As a frequent traveller to the region, I appreciate the natural wharf and the fact that it isn't like the commercial piers available so many other places in Northern California.
