Live music has created some of my happiest memories. There's nothing like listening and dancing to live music and sharing that experience with loved ones.

Music is an important part of our culture and you are destroying lives and careers and taking the beauty out of life in Australia by killing off live music!!

As a fellow musician I want all to be able to express their talents and emotions through this style of art and removing that is hurtful to everyone.

The culture created through music, musical festivals and events is unlike anything else that is available in Australia. It is very unAustralian to even considered putting in any laws or regulations that would put a stop to this. These events bring people together in a way that only people who have experienced it themselves will understand.

Splendour in the Grass 2019 was the most over-policed event I've ever been to. Its funny how when police are supposed to make us feel safe, in these situations they make you feel uneasy and unable to enjy yourself completely. You may be somebody is squeaky clean and nonetheless is always a good and decent person and keeps themselves and their friends safe. But then you're vilified and treated like a common criminal because drug and alcohol policy in this country is seriously outdated and uneducated.
