The UK must not repeat the mistakes of the Iraq War, which was based on false claims of weapons of mass destruction under Tony Blair’s government. Today, the International Criminal Court is investigating credible allegations that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Continuing to provide military support to Israel risks implicating the UK in potential violations of international law.

The recent decision to send UK fighter planes and warships to assist Israel was made without a vote in the House of Commons. Major military actions must be debated and approved by our elected representatives to ensure transparency, accountability, and public trust.

We call on Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the UK Government to:

 • Refrain from military conflict with Iran
 • End all military support to Israel
 • Commit to parliamentary votes on any future military deployments.
