I know that a TV show being cancelled doesn't seem like that big of a deal, especially compared to a lot of the other petitions for things that are really unjust. But this isn't just about a show being cancelled for me; it's about much more than that. I've been sick for the last three and a half years with severe chronic kidney pain. Most days I can't even get off the couch my pain is so bad, I had to miss my last two years of high school and am unable to attend college because of it. I've been all over the country for an answer and the doctors can not figure out why I have this pain. On a scale of 1-10 my pain is NEVER lower than a 7, and usually goes up to 10 twice a day at the least. Pain medicine doesn't even help my pain is at such a high level, but watching Leverage, is the ONE thing that makes me feel better. It's the one thing that cheers me up and brings a smile to my face. It's the only thing that takes my mind off of how crappy I feel and distracts me from my pain. Leverage has been one of the only good things in my life for the last three and a half years. If you take that away, I don't know what I'll do. I need that distraction and that source of happiness. Leverage is so different from every other show on TV. The concept is so different from all the other shows. It's the perfect combination of absolute hilarity and drama. It gives you a sense of hope that there actually are good guys out there. The actors do an AMAZING job at portraying their characters. Another reason not to cancel Leverage is because of all the other fans, they cancelled it on such short notice. Even if you don't watch or like this show, please help me save it from being cancelled. My pain is so miserable, this show is the one bright part of my day and the one thing I have to look forward to, that puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh. It's the only thing that distracts me from how much pain I'm in and how absolutely awful I feel. I need that distraction and that source of happiness. So please, help me stop TNT from canceling Leverage.
