In a world that is conscious about reducing our carbon footprint, the greater community of Ongar needs a dog run that people can walk to rather than drive to. Ongar has grown into a large community, however we have been neglected for many years that the basic amenities are not available to us. We are left to drive to other parks to use dog runs such as st Catherine’s park, millennium park and Hartstown park. 

Dog ownership has drastically grown since covid and we as a community need a safe place to let our dogs off leash while socialising with our community.

Ongar park is full of empty fields that are of no use to anyone. All we are asking for is some fencing and a bin for dog waste.
