TU Dublin are now located in the heart of Dublin 7, in Grangegorman. The campus is beautiful: old and new buildings existing side by side, with a new school being built alongside. Members of the community access the campus and are warmly welcomed. Alas the doggie community has found itself kept on a (literal) tight leash, with a no off leads policy in place. With quite a lot of green space available (while building plans are in the development phase), we ask that TU Dublin allow a portion of land to be cordoned off for use by dogs as a dog run. Dog owners and dogs add enormously to the spirit of the community too! We are open to discussing costs and contributing where needed.

A dog park would further enrich what is a burgeoning community and foster improved relations between the community and the newly-minted university.

Dublin 7 lacks secure spaces for dogs to run and play together. TU Dublin can play a really positive role in remedying this, through the donation of a parcel of land, on a temporary or permanent basis.
