In our local Marsing Community, we want to allow family pets to join events and activities at Marsing City Park. We want pet cleanup stations to replace the “No Dogs Allowed” signs currently posted at the park. 

There are very few places in Marsing where a family can take their dog to run outside, play in the grass and enjoy the great outdoors. Other Cities within the Treasure Valley allow dogs to attend city parks with community members while on a leash, and clean up stations are put at parks to encourage cleanliness and responsibility from dog owners. If a family would like to bring their dog to the Marsing City park for a fun day outside with the kids, they should be able to do so instead of driving to a different city 30-40 minutes away, to where dogs are welcome.
