I’d like to make it mandatory that drs choose prescribing antipsychotic medications wisely! People with LBD Lewy body dementia don’t get diagnosed quick enough and is often mistaken for psychosis. Antipsychotic medication can cause irreversible and worsen symptoms. My mother was on antipsychotic’s with an unknown LBD and lost her speech. Swallowing and most motor skills and later went into catatonia state. If drs evaluate patients with psychosis symptoms watch this patient carefully see if any other symptoms arrive before choosing  to prescribe antipsychotic medication and make absolutely sure that is what the patient has. Luckily my mother is gaining some motor skills after being hospitalized but other people aren’t so lucky. If you don’t know about LBD research it and you will understand why this is my petition.
