The Bill 21 law impacts public servants from wearing their religious symbols during work hours, mostly affecting female Muslim teachers who wear hijabs. As Lake of Two Mountains has a large amount of staff that practice religion we believe that it is important to fight against this so-called “secular” law. Many public servants have been forced out of the province because of the Bill 21, making student-teacher bonds tear apart and communities start to fade away.
