I Kiyarah Harlacher a 7th grader at dms is starting a petition about dress code. first dress code is sexualizing young kids. Stomach, thighs, shoulders, are not distracting. taking kids out of class just because their stomach is showing is sexualizing. Kids are here to learn and not be taken out of class to change their clothes. God made skin so we should be able to show it. And Be proud of it. We are our own bodies. We should do what we want with our life. We should not be controlled by our schools. this is putting kids and young girls in the rape industry.

This is not OK and I’m trying to get rid of the dress code.
