Are you part of the graduating class of 2022 from Diego Martin Central Secondary School?

Are you tired of scrolling through your social media timeline and seeing gorgeous males and females dressing up for their Prom and you had none?

Well then.... this petition is for you.

The students of DMCS, class of 2022, deserves a Prom. Despite the effects Covid-19 has had financially. Many if not most schools around Trinidad and Tobago has had/ are having Proms. This is not fair to the students of the graduated class of '22 who did not have a form 3 graduation neither due to the closure of schools in 2020. .

The school recently had a Civilian day on 07/07/22 as well as raised a large amount of funds in a short period of time . I make this point to show how Covid-19 is a not a issue nor is the money. There should be no problem with having a Prom for '22!

Us, as students are not asking for much. We completed CSEC despite all of the obstacles that was thrown at us and we deserve a chance to celebrate formally with our friends and our school. We are well aware of the financial issues that the school may have. The students have no problem with raising money and working together to make this dream a reality. We are not asking for a miracle. A graduation by the end of the year (Oct, Nov, Dec) of '22 would be more than attainable.  We are asking for the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and other members of staff to understand us and help make this vision into a night to remember for the graduated class of 2022.
