Hello all,

I’m happy to be part of DLF Westend Heights, Akshaya Nagar, Bangalore. There are people from different parts of the country and all have the zeal n respect for their cultures. We all want our next generation to learn n respect our culture and follow it . We love to celebrate our festivals with great pomp n show in Bangalore as it is celebrated in our native cities and states.

We all love to see our children learning different cultures through such celebrations. It’s amazing  to see people from Karnataka or Kerala or Maharashtra enjoying the Lohri Langar. It’s amazing to see kids from any part of the country performing on Ganesha or Krishna dance. We all enjoy Onam feast here.

But in all this, there is too much of unnecessary noise through loud music. It upsets many of us, many of us who have infants, many of us who have sick old aged parents at home , many of us who have students writing exams.

Many kids don’t enjoy going down to functions to see and learn different cultures because of loud noise. We tell our kids at home to talk softly and reduce the TV volume. Just by increasing the volume, the happiness/ dedication wouldn’t be increased.

Can  we all come together to sign that no loud music to be played between 1pm - 3 pm and after 9 pm . Be it any kind of celebration.

God bless all

God bless DLF
