We would like to petition the District of Mission to add more lights to Nelson Street. As they have funding that comes and goes for street lights we would like to petition that they allocate some to Nelson Street in Mission. There is currently very sporadic and non existent lights in most sections on Nelson Street and with the influx of homes and townhome developments being built in this area the amount of traffic has thereby increased. With this increase of cars that whip up and down the road with poor visibility we believe that the increase of accidents is going to continue to climb. It would be great if the District of Mission would be able to add lights to an appropriate distance between eachother all the way up and down Nelson Street.
