Dear Mr. District Collector,

This is regarding the recently announced changes in circle rates of properties in Gurgaon. Proposed changes are way too steep and will hit common man's pocket who wants to purchase a house in Gurgaon. Not all citizens who live/wants to purchase a house in Gurgaon come under the category of 'luxury' living but proposed changes seems to be treating everybody with the same view. 

This change in addition to jeopardizing common man's dream will also negatively affect housing market which is already reeling under a lot of pressure which in turn will hurt the pockets of administration as well. 

In contrast, to boost the market circle rates shall be rationalized and brought down so that citizens are able to afford living here. Instead of a blanket rise across all segments and categorizing all them under 'luxury' segment, a distinction shall be created under under 'essential/basic' and luxury categories.

We hope that administration will understand that a 2/3 bedroom flat does not come under 'luxury' category by any means. Most of the people living/want to live in these accommodations are just sustaining themselves.

In anticipation that administration will understand and will rollback proposed changes.
