Paralakhemundi town is generating tonnes of waste every day and waste is being burnt in the dump yard near Grid co road, om Shanti colony which is forcing the people nearby to breathe poisonous air silently. A lot of residential homes, small-scale food processing factories, infants, old aged people are living within a radius of 50 meters. Silently people of the whole town have been inhaling the same dangerous smoke on daily basis. Thousands of people are fighting to breathe fresh air. Multiple complaints have been submitted for years but no action has been taken either to stop burning the waste or shifting of dump yard to the outskirts of the town.

We hereby request the authority to stop burning the waste immediately which could stop impacting the health of people including small children living nearby who are breathing the poisonous air on daily basis and shift the dump yard of Paralakhemundi town to the outskirts of town as early as possible.
