Many teachers don’t consider the fact that many of their students participate in things crucial to their development outside of school.  We surveyed students at VJA and found that 96% of the students are stressed due to homework. Our main goal is for teachers to be understanding about students having a heavy workload outside of school. e understand that homework cannot be avoided. We ask for teachers to keep this in mind when assigning homework and assign an amount of homework that is reasonable without having to sacrifice sleep, clubs, sports, or work.
