Eileen Gu is a California-born athlete who has renounced her US Citizenship. She won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in freestyle skiing for China in the recent Beijing Olympics. 

Now she has signed on to work for Salt Lake City’s bid for the future Olympics in 2030 or 2034.

I still remember during Beijing Olympics, the CCP propaganda machine was praising Eileen Gu for abandoning the US and joining the Chinese team and winning gold medals for them. They used her and her behavior to brainwash Chinese people, made a lot of Chinese individuals consider her as a national “hero”.

However, when she’s asked about her nationality and when she’s asked about her citizenship, she never answered those questions upfront. She had vague and confusing answers in hope to make more money before she left China to return to the US.

I am a Chinese citizen who is born and raised in China, but now I’m living in the US under my working visa. I am super grateful to be able to live here even as a legal immigrant, so it’s really disgusting for me to find out Eileen Gu, who helped CCP to fool my people, who took her US citizenship as granted, who only focuses on money making and fame building, is going to represent the beautiful Salt Lake City, which is the city I’m living in, during the Olympics. So I’m asking you guys, please sign this petition and make sure Salt Lake City signs a true American athlete to be the ambassador for the future Olympics events.
