Why this petition matters

Started by Ben Astar

Petition to release any and every unreleased piece of Star Wars related music owned by Disney. Several composers do not have the recognition they deserve for their excellent music and many fans wish they could listen to their music from iTunes and Spotify. Examples include Republic Commando, Star Wars Rebels season 3-4, Trailer music from recent films, Star Wars: Resistance, Star Wars Battlefront 2015 and Battlefront 2 2017, Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, leftover tracks from The Clone Wars seasons 1-6, leftover movie tracks like the infamous I'm So Sorry from Revenge of the SIth and Arrival at Yavin from Rogue One, and several LucasArts games. Disney is free to release these soundtracks and profit off on them, so it doesn't make sense to hoard them or forget them. Fans are willing to pay on the iTunes store or subscribe to Apple Music to listen to their favorite songs, so why not let them? With the releases of the Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Squadrons soundtracks, it seems all future soundtracks will be safe from this. But the old albums seem to be forgotten. Please, let us buy and listen to these amazing scores!
