This has happened in my city of Rochester ny a man was making a rap video and because of the content he was jailed for a month charges were dropped but the town and district attorneys office is not on the hook for civil litigation

This is not a victory. A dangerous precedent has been set. One man charged for freedom of speech could mean anyone can be.

This poor boy should not be prosecuted for a facebook post. There are criminal illegal aliens being protected in sanctuary cities and this poor boy is being prosecuted by the courts.

I would be contacting the ACLU as soon as I could. and would find a good consutitional lawyer also this is a voilation of his consutitional rights and needs to be looked in.

I feel so sorry for this kid. I can't stop thinking about this horrible ordeal. And I hate that the media just writes that he made a threat when he was just using hyperbole, making a sarcastic comment. Is there anything I can do, other than sign this to help?

There is no threat. He was jokingly responding.
