My name is Gregory Evans-Pryor, I’m a 24 year old veteran who was arrested 2 years ago. I was arrested for marijuana and was supposed to be detained for 12 hours, after almost 72 hours and questioning I was charged with robbery because the guys I was arrested with commuted the crime. I told them everything I knew but it wasn’t enough. May 14 I was supposed to have my preliminary hearing instead I was questioned and charged with yet another robbery. Until that point I’ve never been arrested in handcuffs anything. It’s been 2 years and I’m still fighting for my freedom even with no physical evidence against me. In these 2 years I’ve remained working, got a home to cal my own, and even gotten married. It sucks not being to do the things I love doing. I was forced to stop making music, I can’t play sports, I can’t even see my nieces and nephews because they banned me from the town until the case is over. I can’t take my wife on a true honeymoon because I can’t leave the state. I can’t get the job I really want because my background comes back flagged. I just wanna happily live my life. I feel I've shown I’m not a criminal. I’m asking for signatures because I believe with people behind me I can beat this.
