Disenfranchised Enthusiasts for Safe, Accessible, and Affordable tracks near every major
Why this petition matters
Members of this disenfranchised group of enthusiasts understand that street racing and exhibition are dangerous activities but also feel that their safe and legal options are limited or nonexistent. They are not professional racers and lack the sponsorship, funds, and time it requires to utilize the current facilities available. The majority of cities are hundreds of miles from the closest track and most of these facilities are not accessible to the general public outside of very limited events.
This group of enthusiast are either forced to break laws or not utilize the product of their efforts. This situation is not ideal or necessary.
The Back to the Track Project is committed to providing a safe, affordable, and accessible outlet for these members of the community to utilize the products of their time, money, and passion.
“As a member of the disenfranchised performance vehicle enthusiasts, this petition and the Back to the Track Project have my support in their fundraising efforts, construction, maintenance, and operation of safe, accessible, and affordable public facilities for the purposes of reducing and eliminating dangerous street racing and exhibition. I agree with the need for such facilities and would encourage the efforts and cooperation of the State, counties, and municipalities in which I reside.”
