State of TN DIDD Fraudulent Accusations Against Contracted Provider

My name is Tonishia Lott and I am the Executive Director/ Co-Owner for an agency located in Tennessee. I am a disabled owner that fought for so many years to become a licensed provider and become an advocate for people that have a disability. Many people look at our disability, but not the ability that we have as a person. Recently, my contract with the State of TN DIDD was terminated due to Fraudulent Accusations.

When we first signed up to become a Provider it was to become an Advocate for the people that have disabilities, so that their voice could be heard. 

I was informed when I first became a Provider through the State of TN DIDD that we must provide Excellent Care to the Person Supported and to MEET THEIR NEEDS. I was always told to remember it is the Person Supported Right. Victorious Person's Supported experience has to now change, when they have already become comfortable and very happy with Victorious Family due to the Termination of Victorious Family Care Center Contract.

Victorious is providing STELLAR care to the people we support. To me that should be very important to the powers when taking such drastic measures such as closing an agency that's providing EXCEPTIONAL care to the people that have chosen to become part of the Victorious family. I feel it was never about the PERSON SUPPORTED and meeting the needs of the Person Supported. If it was about the Person Supported Victorious Family Care Center Contract would have never been TERMINATED because WE CARE.

All of this occurred because I reported to the Director of the West Region with The State of TN Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities the False Accusations the State of TN West Region Provider Support Team made against Victorious Family Care Center.

Due to the False Accusations from The State of Tennessee Department of Intellectual Disabilities West Region. Victorious Family Care Center is now experiencing DISCRIMINATION, RETALIATION & DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER. from The State of Tennessee Department of Intellectual Disabilities.

We have questions that are not being answered. It is not FAIR that the Providers are placed under Investigation when something is reported against them, but when a Provider reports an issue, it is left unattended.

I refuse to let this go because we have come to far in life to give up now. We will not stop until Justice has been served.
