Our beloved friend Stabs the Shook Nostrils#2071 needs your help,

Stabs figured out how people managed to bypass the 2FA. He reported a user who had been dm advertising to the staff of their mutual server. He was giving the staff a hard time and wanted to speak to the person who reported him. He told the staff it was fine as he wanted to see how the user explained themselves. The user sent Stabs a screenshot that didn't load, so he downloaded it because normally that fixes it. Turns out it was a payload... The user then simply logged Stabs out of the desktop client on his computer, replaced the login QR code with the one that is displayed on his client, and waited for me to login by scanning the QRcode (like he normally does). And then he got access to Stabs' account, at which point he must've sent himself the file that broke ToS from Stabs' account or sent it to someone else who then reported it. This also answers the question posed in the automated response, Stabs wasn't notified of his password being changed as his password never changes. He'd really appreciate it if you all could sign this petition, as Stabs' discord account is practically a part of his life, and losing his account would be like losing a major portion of his life, and having to start again from nothing. He's not exaggerating either. He practically lives on Discord. Discord is where he goes when he's feeling down, to talk to his friends. When other people feel down, they often come to Stabs for help, Stabs had to help a couple of users who were seriously thinking about suicide*. This event just isn't the type of thing he would do. he works to help make Discord safer, not make it less. That's why he's asking all of you to sign this petition.
