Discord announced that it will put new Terms of Service in effect on March 28th 2022. One of the new terms is that discord users from "terrorist supporting countries" will now get their accounts disabled. Not only is this a discrimination of millions of people by generalization based off of their government's actions, like them or not, but this is also an indulgence of modern political agenda. There are no clear criteria on how a "terrorist supporting country" is determined, but so far it seems to be just those countries or territories, which have been called out by the American government as enemies. On behalf of many discord users from Iran, Syria, China and Russia, the latter two not being named as terrorist supporting at the moment, but probably will get titled so: We ask for common sense! Just because one is born in a country with a government they don't necessarily agree with, doesn't mean they should get labeled as terrorists, especially in a definition used by the US agenda. No one but the government is responsible for its actions, the people are not the ones to blame. We urge the discord administration team to rethink the new ToS and abandon such discrimination.
