FiveM is a GTA V modification allowing communities to play together creating roleplay.

Because of FiveM, large amazing communities have been created and continue to thrive. This has brought happiness to a lot of people, with FiveM reaching over 60,000 players on at one time and continues to grow. 

One main aspect of the communities involves the integration of a well known platform called "Discord". Hundreds and hundreds of servers rely on certain scripts allowing permissions to be integrated from discord, to the game. For example, people who have a certain role in their discord, has certain permissions in the real game. This is one of the main aspects of the game, without it, communities will end up dying due to no proper permissions being made. 

However, Discord has recently blocked this method from working and this couldn't have happened in the most terrible of times. Because Discord has blocked FiveM from doing certain things, we are unable to enjoy the communities that rely on this script. With everything going on in the world, Discord really has chosen the wrong time to act. 

We, as a community, wish to get this sorted and want Discord to recognise what they've done. This isn't the most appropriate time to do this, especially with everything going on. Many people enjoy the game, including the amazing content creators who have made amazing fan bases off of this. 

We want Discord to work with FiveM on a solution that will enable both parties to be happy and carry on as normal. Hopefully, this isn't too much to ask for.
