The community of the Official Genshin Impact servers have always enjoyed the spaces which have been given to us to gather as a community, as players and lovers of the game, to talk not only about the game and its various aspects, to ask for help and tips, but to also converse.

Due to the protests that have been launched by part of the community, we have been unable to enjoy these spaces. Regardless of whether some of us may or may not agree with the overall notion of the protests in order to have Quality of Life, bug fixes, etc. and overall various changes to the game, there are those of us that would like to be able to enjoy player/community spaces.

In the span on less than a week (in fact, only a few days), there have been at least nearly half a million QiQi stickers sent as "protest", not to count the numerous entries of copy and paste entries (or copypastas as they are otherwise known).

Normally, these spammers would be punished by simply reporting, but the numbers are far too astronomical to attempt. In any other situation, they would be dealt with and we ask that the staff of the server, as well as Discord, punish these users for the amount of disruption they have caused. As normal "one off" spammers would be dealt with harshly, we ask that you be fair, not let this just "go" and not allow these spammers to get away without any consequences. They should be treated no differently, even if their cause may or may not be noble or just.

Swift and harsh punishment is necessary, in this case, to send a clear message. Otherwise, in the future, if issues should arise again, this spamming method may be used again to get results, at the cost of the suffering of the community. The purpose of this request is not that we, as the community, want you to silence the voices of our fellow players and community, but to simply send the clear message that this, OUR server, is not the appropriate place for protest, especially when it disrupts the functioning of our community.

We ask that not only the administration of the Genshin Impact discord, but also Discord itself deal with these spammers. We, the community as a general collective, want to be able to enjoy our fandom again.
