As a student in Western Kentucky, I have always believed that our campus should be a haven of safety and security for all. However, the presence of the Turning Point USA student organization has increasingly made our campus feel unsafe. Their decision to invite Kyle Rittenhouse to speak has not only created an environment of fear but also made our campus a target for hate groups.

Turning Point USA's actions are not isolated incidents but part of an alarming pattern. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, there has been a 7% increase in hate groups across America since 2018 (source: Southern Poverty Law Center). This trend is reflected on campuses nationwide where such organizations operate.

In light of these concerns, we are calling on the university administration to disband Turning Point USA's student organization at Western Kentucky University immediately. We believe this action will significantly reduce the risk posed by hate groups and restore peace and safety on our campus.
