We the undersigned demand that the United States government guarantee that NATO will not be established in Ukraine and that the US government will begin the process of disbanding NATO, just as the Soviet Union in 1991 disbanded the Warsaw Pact. Further, we demand that Russia and Ukraine end all hostilities in the region and that Russia withdraw all troops from Ukraine.

The conflict in Ukraine has brought new attention to NATO, a military organization created by the US during the Cold War.

The NATO arsenal includes nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, Abrams tanks, Apache attack helicopters, jet fighters, F-16 and F-35 bombers, various classes of naval warships, armed soldiers, and much more.

NATO military missions include the bombings of the former Yugoslavia in 1992 and 1999, as well as the bombings of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria, all of which were violations of both the NATO charter and international law.

In 1991 the Warsaw Pact was disbanded, a parallel military alliance dominated by the Soviet Union.

Since 1991 NATO has spread to Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, and the micro states of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

For decades the Russian government has demanded that NATO stop its eastward march toward Russia.

The US and NATO have refused this demand and now threaten to establish NATO in Ukraine, which has a 1,400-mile border with Russia.
