Recently the elected Government have attempted to pass several bills to help safeguard our country and its people only to have them rejected by the unelected members of the House of Lords.

We live in a democracy where we have a voting system to elect a Government to run our country in a way that the vast majority would wish. The House of Lords is in this day and age no longer needed or required and should therefore be disbanded. 

Disbanding the House of Lords would also save the electorate a considerable amount of money.
