In our HWOS 432 course "Disability Studies and Inclusive Communities" we are working to advocate for an accurate representation of individuals with disabilities in various media outlets. There are various film companies that produce various tv shows and films that are widely popular, and we feel having accurate disability representation in these tv shows and films will help spread awareness of these disabilities in a way that decreases stigma. We would appreciate any signatures of support as we plan to send an email with this form attached to these companies and encourage them to expand their productions to include individuals with disabilities.
