The Placement Committee has been wielding too much unchecked power. They treat their fellow batchmates with no respect and have a supremist mindset just because the got into PlaceCom( They'll ban someone from the process for referring to them as Placecom). They have completely hijacked the Placement process and it's completely at their discretion who gets placed with no transparency.

You can't question anything, you can't discuss anything and you can't post anything or you'll get debarred. They have created such a toxic environment where we are at the mercy of the Placement Committee and have to wait for them to get placed for us to get any decent shortlists. 

We can clearly see the Placement Committee members with shitty profiles continuously getting shortlists while the deserving candidates haven't gotten any. The secrecy about this whole process is just a convenient lie created by them to cover up their malpractices and the way they are treating their batchmates is reprehensible. 

We request you to sign this petition to ask the authorities to form a process to make the Placement Committee more accountable, make the placement process more transparent and give us back our right of free speech. We want a fair process for everyone.
