The Mount Rushmore National Memorial Restitution Project is a project founded in 2020 with the goal to seek appropriate and equitable restitution for The Mount Rushmore National Memorial. What this restitution will entail is the subject of ongoing debate. How this endeavor can be implemented is a complex and intricate problem.

As of This Date; July 1st, 2020, in order to Honor The Lakota Indians and The Dakota Indians; The Indigenous People of The Region, and to Honor The Black Hills; (The Black Hills are the range of mountains that rise out of the Badlands of western South Dakota; considered sacred to the Sioux Indians), The Mount Rushmore National Memorial Restitution Project hereby officially calls for The Complete Restoration of Mount Rushmore back to its Original Formation, with the Complete Removal of The Carvings of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln from the mountain. We fully comprehend that this is an extensive undertaking and a daunting endeavor, and thus we are Petitioning The United States Government introduce and pass Legislation, and to Provide adequate Monetary Funding in order to Implement and Execute this Project. We at The Mount Rushmore National Memorial Restitution Project desire for the landscape to be carefully and intricately restored to it's original form, or the closest possible to it's original form; with The Removal of Debris, and the Careful Restoration and Restitution to The Sacred Land.

Please Note; We are Not Addressing This Issue with any animosity toward The United States, and our desire is to coordinate and facilitate this endeavor with Objectivity, Peace, and Harmony between all Parties, Groups, and Factions.

The Mount Rushmore National Memorial Restitution Project is a project founded in 2020 with the goal to seek appropriate and equitable restitution for The Mount Rushmore National Memorial. What this restitution will entail is the subject of ongoing debate. How this endeavor can be implemented is a complex and intricate problem. This Go Fund Me fund is not meant to provide monetary restitution for the Lakota or Dakota Indians, or to provide funding for the restoration of Mount Rushmore back to its original form, which was originally known to the Sioux as Six Grandfathers. The funding is for the purpose of increasing public awareness, promoting education and communicating the message of respect and dignity to the Lakota and Dakota Indians, and to the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Any and all money raised through this fund will be used to spread this vital message.
