Improve Food Quality at Hammonds

Improve Food Quality at Hammonds
While on campus at Ringling College, students pay upwards of $3,000 for a meal plan. If you are a freshman you have no choice but to sign up for the meal plan. Understandable, most colleges require freshman to have a meal plan their first year. Well, it has only been one month, and so far I have heard almost nothing but grief from my peers over the quality of Hammond’s food.
Over the last month, I have gathered feedback on the food from my peers, and my personal experience. Here are just some of the discrepancies students have with Hammonds-
- undercooked/raw hamburger, overcooked food, bugs in food, very little gluten free options, very little vegetarian options, drink machines not being refilled, rude staff, and so on.
Students here at Ringling want to make a change! Conditions like these are unacceptable for the amount of money we are spending on the meal plan!
