We want the NZ Govt to give us a specific vaccination target so changes in the Covid 19 restriction levels can be more predictable and manageable. This current vague approach leaves us feeling uncertain and anxious as we have no assurance or ability to plan. As a result of this, we believe the NZ public are losing faith, are less committed to the Government's so called 'road map' and this is causing social unrest.    

As an example, there was an indication of a 90% vaccination rate required, however, the Prime Minister has now stated this may depend on an age group or certain sectors of society's vaccination rates.  What other changes are going to be  sprung onto New Zealanders which will alter the timing of our release from restrictions??

The goal posts are constantly changing.  We are at the mercy of the daily announcements and haphazard changes to the alert level restrictions.  These are not only confusing but show no transparency.  This is disrespectful to those of us who have gone out of our way to get vaccinated and follow the rules accordingly. 

Those of us who are double vaccinated are being restricted in our fundamental freedoms and are being subjected to the problems we have listed below and we are over it:    

WORK - Ability to work effectively (if at all)
ECONOMIC - Distress and significant loss of income for many Business Owners
SOCIAL - Unable to visit family and friends outside of designated area including disharmony and unrest in communities
PSYCHOLOGICAL - Loneliness and mental health issues
TRAVEL - Unable to travel out of our designated area

To allow us to buy into the plan so we can get rid of these restrictions, we NEED tangible, meaningful targets that are concrete.
