With regards to all the respected authorities, In reference to:-
"Pre Test: 2nd Jan 2018 AN (Mandatory to avail campus placement)" , and
" Attendance of registered students is compulsory, students who fail to attend the sessions regularly will have to pay Rs.1000/- and will not be permitted to attend further classes or sit for Placements."
It is widely felt among we students of B-tech (IT) 3rd Year that the sudden decision on placement pre test on 2nd January and placement training on 6th Jan 2018, has caused great confusion and a practical problem at large as most of the students after their 5th-semester university exam have taken their to and fro tickets and scheduled their vacation. We were informed only 15 days beforehand (on 14.12.17) it is not possible for most of us to reschedule our tickets due to both availability and cost factors. It's not a new thing for the University to change it's timetable. There have been previous incidents wherein the University changed the dates and our parents had to bear the financial loss for the tickets.
The fresh dates for compulsory pre test for placement on 2nd January and preparatory classes for placement from 6th Jan 2018 with 100% attendance, therein may clash with an already scheduled vacation program of most of the student as some of them enrolled in Industrial training / Internships.
Therefore University administration is humbly requested that aforesaid program may kindly be rescheduled considering the inconvenience being faced by us. Holding the pre test after atleast 5th of January and relaxation from 100% attendance for eligibility to appear in placement may also be considered.
With all due respect and Sincere regards,
All fellow students may offer their comments on the above issue and vote in support.
