Free University fees

If too many students do not attend university due to inefficient funds millions of low skilled jobs will be taken by advanced technology. In New Zealand we have tax free loans that we can pay over 15 years but many students are finding it extremely difficult to pay off. The policy we are attempting to change is from the Education act 321 :The amount of every grant and the conditions subject to which it will be paid shall be determined by the Minister. http://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1989/0080/latest/DLM187377.html .We are wanting to make a change to the current university fees policy so that more domestic students are able to attend university in New Zealand. The Labour's 'Working Futures Plan', posted by Andrew Little on January 31, 2016. States that they "will provide three years of free post-school education across a person’s life so New Zealanders can thrive in the 21st century economy." As a year 13 student this is something that I worry about and want to see a change in the next 2 years.
