Join us in signing for this Petition  in remembrance of our slain Heroes and Heroines of the 1893 First Chimurenga war against British colonial occupation and rule. As direct and indirect descendants of the liberation heroes It is paramount to us that the remains of these heroes and heroines be safely, peacefully and respectfully repatriated back to Zimbabwe. This petition  is informed by the dire lack of communication and liaison between Britain and the Government of Zimbabwe. As direct and indirect descendants of those that sacrificed their lives through unimaginable gallantry and valour during the dark era of colonialism and empire we would like to raise awareness around the importance of closure, identity and reconciliation. Therefore we would like to peacefully repatriate their remains to their final resting place, in Zimbabwe.
