Yes to affordable and decent Hajj packages. Hajj is a Fard on all muslims, and one of the five pillars. It must be made easy and not difficult so that more can fulfill this obligation not just the rich.

The Muslims and the Not yet Muslims

I want to submit

That we muslims in South Africa are a minority
South Africa is not a muslim County
South Africa is a secular country

According to the discussion I had with the Haj Ministry today they made the following clear

DIRCO
The ministry of International Relations and cooperation

HAS PRESENTED Sahuc as the Haj Mission Representative for South African Muslims and Therefore The Haj Ministry don't Regard South Africa as a secular Country as it's not being portrayed as such

There has been many complaints Registered Against the agency SAHUC in KSA and the Haj Ministry didn't connect the Complaints with SAHuC as they are presented as a Political Appointment in the Kingdom .

However We all know that they SAHUc operate as an Agent by charging fees and also Charge the Agents 10 000 per agent to Register with them

None of the other countries charge their agents or the Hujaaj

We have been advised to Get DIRCO to Clarify the Appointment of SAHUC Urgently

To clarify the status of South Africa as a secular Country

This will enable Us to be given the same status as UK and the European countries and will be to the benefit of the Hujaaj in many ways and this must be done urgently

We always march for
Indians
Kashmiri
Palestinians
Syrians

We not asking you to March it achieves nothing

Please write to DIRCO AND EXPRESS
YOUR DISSATISFACTION AT THE UNILATERAL APPOINTMENT OF SAHUC AND DEMAND THEY revoke The Mission status and seek SUSPENSION OF SAHUC IMMEDIATELY SO OUR PROGENY AND FUTURE GENERATIONS WONT SUFFER THE SAME ISSUE THE CURRENT HUJAAJ ARE SUFFERING

We also embarking on legal
recourse against the Government if their fail to correct the situation forthwith

It is one of the greatest pillars of Islam. Yet so unaffordable for the great masses. The current rates for haj is pure exploitation. There are many who collect for years on end only to realise it still isnt enough. Sad state of affair
