The Diocese of Orlando has decided to REVERSE their mask mandate, as of August 9th, from being mask recommended, to a mandate dependent upon the infection rate and percentage for the county in which the school is located. If the county percentage, which could be lagged up to 2 weeks, is above 8% ALL FACULTY AND STUDENTS WILL BE MANDATED to wear a mask.  This mandate is in disregard to Governor DeSantis’s decision that Florida schools will not implement a mask mandate.  

As a parent, we are entitled to have a CHOICE whether or not OUR children will be masked. It is not simply a fight about “wearing a cloth.” It is about the fundamental choice we have as parents, that is being stripped away,  to make the BEST decisions for OUR children.
