Defend the Blessed Sacrament & Deposit of the Faith

Defend the Blessed Sacrament & Deposit of the Faith
Your Excellency, Bishop Coerver:
Covid-19 changed the face of the world, our nation, our Diocese, and our beloved Catholic Church. Many believe Covid-19 was emergent enough to restrict our access to the Most Holy Eucharist. We were all going through uncharted territory and did not know what to expect. With that being said and learning from this experience, we believe we should never go without our spiritual food again. With Covid ramping back up again we pray you feel the same as well.
We need spiritual healing and are spiritually hungry. Please continue to feed us, your family. We respectfully ask that the following not be restricted with whatever virus comes our way:
1) Access to all the blessed sacraments;
2) Our traditional Catholic values; and
3) Religious formation classes.
It is time for our families to come back to church and unite as one holy, catholic and apostolic church. It is time to defend our families and defend our faith. This starts with each of us in our families at home, our domestic churches, in our local churches, and in our Lubbock diocese. Our diocesan family has been crippled and we need God’s intervention to lead us back to our traditional faith. We want to grow our faith, have access to the reverent reception of all the sacraments, and have increased access to the variety and richness of our Catholic faith.
We look forward to your response.
Respectfully yours,
Defenders of the Blessed Sacrament
