I am a current parent of 3 students at Saint Joseph's School in Fairhaven, MA.  I have students in 2nd, 6th, and 7th grades.  This mask mandate has gone on long enough and the effects for my children and their friends are going to last for their life time.  I feel that parents should have the choice as to whether or not their children have to wear a mask at school.  The private schools are not required to follow DESE guidance but they have chosen to do so without the consent of the parents that pay for these children's education.  

I am only asking for families of Saint Joseph's School in Fairhaven to sign this petition.  Together we can take a stand for our children's rights.  

I absolutely support someone's personal decision and right to choose to wear masks for themselves and/or their family.  It is our job as citizens to look at all the data, facts, risks and benefits and then decide for OURSELVES what the best choice for our family will be. What is best for one family is not what is necessarily best for another family.  Parent choice is what I am looking for in our school. Parents alone should have the authority and final say when it comes to what medical devices, prophylactics, and medications their children utilize.
