Make The Disney Afternoon Collection for Nintendo Switch

The Disney Afternoon is a source of great nostalgia for many people. The wide cast of now mostly forgotten Disney characters remain a staple in the childhood of millions. At the time, the video game market was booming and Nintendo was front and center. Disney wanted to capitalize and many games based on the Disney Afternoon were published by Capcom. Disney and Nintendo were a match made in heaven.

These games became instant classics for both their quality and their difficulty. But after the Nintendo Entertainment System was replaced by the Super Nintendo, and the Disney Afternoon block faded, these games were lost. The most popular of the Disney Afternoon games was Ducktales, and in 2013 it was remastered on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and mobile devices. The game was well received on all platforms but it sold well on one platform specifically, and that was the Wii U. Nintendo's history with these games is apparent and that is why it was shocking to hear Capcom's decision on the new nostalgic throwback they had in development.

On March 15, 2017, Capcom announced that it was working with Digital Eclipse (the same company who made the Megaman Legacy Collection that was released on Nintendo 3DS) to make a collection of games based on the Disney Afternoon. The Disney Afternoon Collection features 6 games, all of which originated on the NES, and it would release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game would be skipping Nintendo consoles despite the popularity of Nintendo's new console, the Nintendo Switch. Fans have already begun to respond to this. The various trailers of the game and Twitter posts are flooded with comments asking to have this game on the Nintendo Switch. Digital Eclipse responded to the fan out cry and said that it was up to Capcom.

So Capcom, can you release the Disney Afternoon Collection on the Nintendo Switch?
